29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a)Karbowski, Construction Inc. at 271 Elk Circle, Keystone, CO, 80435: On or about and at times prior to July 23, 2024, the exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while conducting roofing operations on the first story roof of a two-story single-family home. An employee fell approximately 11 feet to the ground and died as a result. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six feet.
