29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b) a. Employees performing roofing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on July 11, 2024, when three (3) employees installing roofing material on a 5:12 roof pitch of a house, located at 267 Day Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida 32254 , were exposed to fall hazards ranging from 8 to 18-foot to the ground below, in that they were not utilizing any form of fall protection systems. Valor Roofing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1715137, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 3, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 17971 Nassau Drive in Jacksonville FL 32226 Valor Roofing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1684107, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, that was affirmed as a final order on November 15, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 478 Tallulah Avenue in Jacksonville, FL 32208.
