29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about July 11, 2024, at the U.S. Immigration, Customs and Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, Ponce: Holding Cell Processing Area - two eye-wash bottles, brand Honeywell, had their solutions expired since 7/2018, exposing employees to eye injuries. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
