Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crush by hazards: (a) On May 30, 2024, and times prior, at or near 324 26th Street East in Williston, North Dakota, employees were exposed to crush by hazards while working in close proximity to industrial storage racks that were not secured against toppling. Note: Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard include but are not limited to: 1. Follow the recommendations of ANSI MH 16.1 - Specification for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks, Sections 1.4 - Integrity of Rack Installations
