29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about July 16, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that procedures for the control of potentially hazardous energy were developed, documented and utilized when no machine specific lock out procedures were developed for the CNC Lathe number 47659 in the Raw Materials process of the Saw Department. Employees are exposed to potentially hazardous energy such as, but not limited to, electricity, hydraulics, and mechanical sources when they change the jaws or inserts on the lathe.
