OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards when operating a compact track loader without utilizing a seat belt. a) Benscreek Coal Refuse Pile jobsite, near 1500 Dulancey Drive, Lilly, PA 15938: On June 25, 2024, an employee was operating a Bobcat brand compact track loader (model number: T62, serial number: B4SF18227) without the use of a seat belt, the loader rolled over a steep embankment crushing the employee resulting in his death.
