Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to potential flying objects: Buildng 22, Sphericals: On, or about, June 26, 2024, a stand mounted JET off-hand grinder was provided with a Type 1 straight abrasive wheel on the left side. The abrasive wheel was primarily used to sharpen bronze tools and the sharpening was done using both the periphery and side of the wheel. The Type 1 wheel was designed for grinding on the periphery of the wheel, not the side of the wheel.
