OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that they were exposed to struck-by hazards. a) On or about June 13, 2024, and June 17, 2024, at a retention pond located at 1202 Hwy 509, Mansfield, Louisiana, 71052; employees engaged in dredging operations were exposed to struck-by and/or caught in-between hazards and drowning hazard while operating an aquatic weed harvester. Employees had not received proper operator training before utilizing the machinery.
