OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from exposure to fall hazards by using the forks of a rough terrain forklift as a work platform without any fall protection or other safety precautions in place. 122 Boston Post Road, Waterford, CT. On or about June 7, 2024: a) Employees were elevated approximately 25 feet above ground level on the forks of a Lull 844C-42 Rough Terrain Forklift Truck in order to conduct framing activities on the peak of a dormer. The employees were not provided with fall protection and were not otherwise elevated in a manner consistent with the requirements of ANSI B56.6 Section 5.15.1.
