29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 degree F (37.8 degree C), were dispensed into containers without the containers being electrically interconnected: (a) Spray Finishing Department - On or about May 23, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards while dispensing Xylene (a category 3 flammable liquid with a flashpoint of 81 degree F) into containers without the containers being electrically interconnected. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.13(c).
