29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded. On or about 5 May 2024, an employee of Nike IHM Inc. dba. Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation was exposed to amputation hazards. A Delta Belt Disc Sander, Model 31-735, S/N 10H14903, did not have a machine guard to protect the employee from the point of operation. Nike IHM Inc. dba. Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1476398, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 13 July 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 8 Research Park Drive in Saint Charles, Missouri.
