29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as�elsewhere required�or permitted�by this�standard, live�parts of�electric equipment�operating at�50 volts�or more�shall be�guarded against�accidental contact by�use of�approved cabinets�or other�forms of�approved enclosures�or by�any of�the following�means: a. On or about May 9, 2024, located on the front of the Laguna Swift 4 x 4 CNC machine, there was an open box with wire nuts on the ends of its conductors, which exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. Core Molding Technologies, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446937, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 800 Manor Park Drive, Columbus, OH 43228.
