Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
1926.503(c)(3) Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill: a. Lot 81 - On or about May 8, 2024, employees of Sunny Slope Construction were sheeting the roof of a two-story residential home with roof pitches of 8:12 and greater without fall protection. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of greater than 20 feet. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
