29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) Welding Area, West Side of Building - Materials and equipment, including, but not limited to, a piece of practice angle iron on the floor and a pedestal fan in front of the exit door, and frame rotating equipment between the building's central aisleway and the west exit door (where the natural gas piping enters the building), obstructed access to this exit door, on or about May 6, 2024. (b) Welding Area, East Side of Building - Materials and equipment, including, but not limited to a frame and frame rotating equipment between the building's central aisleway and the east exit door, obstructed access to this exit door, on or about May 6, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
