29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): (2) Hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired. At an establishment located at N2915 County Road AB in Luxemburg, Wisconsin: a) On or about April 22, 2024, in the Whey Plant, Milk Minerals Dryer Room, by the DSI tank, employees were exposed to slips, trips and falls when the employer failed to correct or guard an area near a floor drain on the main walkway where three bricks had been broken or dislodged and no longer presented an even walking-working surface. b) On or about April 22, 2024, in the Whey Plant, Milk Minerals Dryer Room, near a yellow motor, employees were exposed to slips, trips and falls when the employer failed to correct or guard a drain where five bricks had been broken or dislodged and no longer presented an even walking-working surface.
