OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The Employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to Employees in that Employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards. These hazards were created when employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from an inadequate automotive lift inspection program. 488 Main Street (Service Bays): On or about April 11, 2024, and sometime thereafter, employees were exposed to struck-by, trapped between, and crushing hazards while performing motor vehicle servicing and/or maintenance procedures on vehicles elevated and supported by automotive lifts that were not regularly or routinely inspected for safety deficiencies, damage, and proper repair. A. Service Bay 1: Vehicle intake & fluid flush building. B. Service Bay 2: Vehicle auction estimate building. C. Service Bay 3: Main & central building.
