29 CFR 1910.107(h)(12):All areas used for spraying, including the interior of the booth, were not protected by automatic sprinklers where this protection is available. Where this protection is not available, other approved automatic extinguishing equipment were not provided: a. On or about April 9, 2024, an employee was exposed to a fire hazard while painting equipment in a spray booth, on the west side of the paint area, that did not have automatic sprinklers or other approved automatic extinguishing equipment. b. On or about March 11, 2024, an employee was exposed to a fire hazard while painting equipment in a spray booth, in the middle of the paint area, that did not have automatic sprinklers or other approved automatic extinguishing equipment.
