Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees where employees were exposed to burn hazards: a) On or about March 19, 2024, and at times prior, the employer failed to provide a place of employment free from the recognized hazard of burn injuries resulting from contact with hot frying oil during transportation and disposition tasks. An employee suffered serious burns when disposing of hot oil which had been drained from the Pitco Deep Fryer.
