29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: At 18594 Hwy KK in Boss, MO 65440 (Refinery) - On or about 27 March 2024, employees of The Buick Resource Recycling Facility (BRRF) DBA Doe Run employees exposed to injurious corrosive materials (ex. Formosoda-P caustic soda micropearls- sodium hydroxide) did not have suitable facilities in the work area for immediate quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body including but not limited to: a) Blocked shower near the entrance of the break building with the safety offices b) Uninspected eyewashes (tags on eyewashes requiring weekly inspection per ANSIZ358.1) c) Broken/inoperable showers not tagged out/no signage indicating they are inoperable
