29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). (a) On or about March 28, 2024, at the jobsite located at N55W25261 Crescent Hill Drive, Sussex WI, an employee was installing the sewer lateral connection to the residential building without any cave-in protection, exposing the employee to soil cave-in hazard.
