Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and crush-by hazards when utilizing steel storage rack systems having the following deficiencies: a) At VRC Companies, located at 2901 East 10th Avenue, Tampa, Florida: On or about March 26, 2024, the employer exposed workers to struck-by and crush-by hazards, in that, the metal racking systems had not been secured properly to the concrete floor.
