Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards due working in front of an operating compact backhoe loader. Location: 990 LaGrange Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 On or about March 21, 2024, employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards while working in the danger zone of a JCB 3CX compact loader. While loading burial liners into waiting trucks employees manipulate suspended loads which caused one employees foot and lower leg to be run over by the equipment being used.
