29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about March 4, 2024, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 3874 Kenway Blvd, Uniontown Ohio 44685; the employer did not ensure that all employees working on the roof single family residential home were protected from a fall of approximately 10.3 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. MEJIA ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(B)(11) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1619527, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (12/1/2022), with respect to a workplace located at 9220 wellspring Ave NW, N. Canton Ohio 44720. MEJIA ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(B)(11) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1474016, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (5/14/2020), with respect to a workplace located at 2818 S. Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44312.
