OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards posed by damaged and unsecured racking systems: Location: 283-295 New Rd., Parsippany, NJ 07054 On or about: March 1, 2024 Employees walking/working along with those operating forklifts were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards posed by racking systems that were: a) Approximately 20 feet high and were not anchored to the ground, b) Missing plaques in one or more conspicuous locations to permanently and prominently display the permissible loading, c) Not provided with load application and rack configuration drawings for each rack installation. d) Utilized with damaged uprights and supports with such racks not taken out of service, repaired or replaced before material was stored on them.
