Cross-roll brakes were not provided with guards that are similar in number and equal in effectiveness to guards on hand-fed brakes. a) Hearthside Food Solutions LLC, on or about February 25, 2024, at the address of 312 Rader Rd. McComb, OH; the employer failed to effectively guard the line #9 laminators driven cross roll dough brakes. Employees tasked with flour dusting activities where dough passes through two horizontal driven rolls were exposed to amputation hazards.
