1926.651(k)(2) Where the competent person finds evidence of a situation that could result in a possible cave-in, indications of failure of protective systems, hazardous atmospheres, or other hazardous conditions, exposed employees shall be removed from the hazardous area until the necessary precautions have been taken to ensure their safety. On or about February 22, 2024, employees were working in a trench that was more than four feet in depth and were not provided with a safe means of egress. DL Glover, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.652(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650216, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/28/2023 with respect to a workplace located near 17308 Farm To Market Rd 1488 (30.220664, -95.729701) Magnolia, TX 77354.
