29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): a) Rudolph Food Products Inc, on or about February 6, 2024, at the address of 6575 Bellefontaine Rd. Lima, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing work from the top of the Munters Dryer #22. Employees accessing the top of the dryer to perform maintenance activities such as changing out filters, were exposed to falls of approximately 8 feet 6 inches to the concrete below.
