29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On February 12, 2024, on the north side of the construction site, employees engaged in roofing work without fall protection were exposed to unprotected fall hazards of approximately 9 feet to the ground below. Eduardo Ruiz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1658638, citation number 02, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on May 2, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2737 Acadia Drive, Corinth, TX 76210. This inspection is currently in collections at the U.S. Treasury with current penalties of $25,866.45.
