29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a)Filler Machines: The employer did not require employees to utilize lock out procedures on the filler machines when performing tasks such as but not limited to, unjamming cartons from the machine. Observed on or about 2/7/24. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. DAIRY FARMERS OF AMERICA; WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 1910.147(c)(4)(i) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1597524 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, ISSUED ON 8/24/22.
