29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about 1/31/2024, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 10699 Middlebranch Ave NE, Hartville Ohio 44632; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a residential single-family home were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing roofing material with air driven nail guns. Juan Velasquez DBA Bronco Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye and face protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1652919, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (5/4/2023), with respect to a workplace located at 1617 Graham Rd, Stow Ohio 44224. Juan Velasquez DBA Bronco Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye and face protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1556452, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (11/7/2022), with respect to a workplace located at 708 Locust St, Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614.
