29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition. a.) Hot End, Lines B7 and B8 - On or about January 31, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that walking-working surfaces at the Emhart IS Bottle Machines were regularly inspected and maintained. Metal floor panels at lines B7 and B8 IS bottle machines were loose, warped, uneven, and/or had 2-inch gaps, thereby exposing affected employees to trip hazards.
