29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct an annual or more frequent inspection of the energy control procedure to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were followed: In the south pickle room, employees working on the modified sugar dumper were exposed to amputation hazards in that the employer did not perform a periodic inspection and certify the written specific procedures to lock out the equipment prior to January 30, 2024. An amputation occurred on this machine on January 29, 2024.
