29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 31, 2024 the employer Dayton Roofing and Restoration LLC at jobsite located at 137 E. Center St. Marion OH 43302, did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing activities atop a low sloped commercial structure. Two employees cleaning and making flat roof repairs on the commercial structure were exposed to a falls of 12 feet and 3 inches or greater to the ground below. The roof was a 2:12 pitch.
