29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. a) On 1/8/2024, an employee was injured while in the process of building wooden bunks utilizing a Everwin nail gun PN58, during the process the employee shot two 1 3/4" nails into the right knee, in that in lieu of 911 being called the employee was transported to a hospital that was not within 3-4 minutes of the facility.
