Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) 242 S. Rehoboth Blvd Milford, DE 19963: On February 2, 2024, employees were exposed to an uncontrol release of Hydrochloric Acid (CLO2) gas while working within the electrician's office. It was identified as a chemical asphyxiate contained multiple hazardous chemicals [e.g. Adox-Sodium Chlorite, Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hypochlorite]. This chemical product which was released from a dosing pump that was determined to have had damaged bolts which were weaken from the acid of the chemical product which flowed through the pump which also had a constant vibration.
