29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. At the packaging station, right conveyor belt, located at 3258 County Road, 305 South, in Bunnell, FL: On or about January 20, 2024, the employer exposed employees to caught in and amputation hazards, in that the employer did not ensure guarding of the conveyor belt was sufficient prior to permitting employees to work in the conveyor area. b.
