29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about January 3, 2024, the employer did not ensure that energy control procedures were developed, documented and utilized for the Dry Depositor 1 prior to allowing employees to clear jams near the sealing and cutting jaws. Employee(s) were exposed to un-expected start up or movement of the machine, resulting in exposure to caught-between hazards from machine parts that could result in amputations. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
