OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and/or crushed-by hazards. On December 20, 2023 at the Waipio Peninsula Trestle: A Magswitch CE6600 cordless electronic magnetic lifter was used to lift material that exceeded the maximum length for non-cylindrical loads and did not achieve maximum adhesive force based on material width and thickness. Employees were exposed to struck by and crushed by hazards.
