29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairways or ladders were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided: a- 21 Charlotte Street, Marlton NJ: Workers, walking and working from a residential structure's second floor were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 10 feet 5 inches to the flooring below when accessing to and egressing from this residential structure's second floor from the top plate of the structure's exterior wall frame. The break in elevation from this top plates to/from the structure's second floor was greater than 19 inches. Condition noted on or about 12/14/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
