Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a) Shop Floor - Rack columns were not anchored to the floor with anchor bolts exposing employees to struck-by hazards while loading and unloading material from the storage rack, on or about December 12, 2023. b) Shop Floor - The employer failed to ensure that all pallets were maintained in a good, safe, operating condition, and properly placed onto pallet load support members. Several pallets were damaged and several overhung the horizontal rack beams, exposing employees to struck by hazards, on or about December 12, 2023. c) Shop Floor - Rack systems located near the shipping area were not placarded with the maximum permissible load, on or about December 12, 2023. No abatement�certification or�documentation required.
