29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about December 7th, 2023, employees engaged in commercial manufacturing activities, located at 56274 NE-84, Hartington, NE 68739, were exposed to amputation hazards in that employees were using unguarded machinery. Instances include but are not limited to: i. Giddings & Lewis, Drill Press, Serial Number 972-04063-71. ii. US Drill Head, Serial Number 113748, Milling Machine. iii. Clausing Corp, Spec Number 36F644-93, Milling Machine.
