29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): Walking-working surfaces were not maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. A) Deodorizer Room: Employees assigned to perform troubleshooting activities to free a clog in the cocoa butter melt deodorization system were exposed to slip, trip and fall hazard(s) from spills and leaks in the cocoa butter melting process. Condition noted on or about 12/04/2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
