29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about August 17, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees tasked with tear off and placement of roofing materials on a residential home located at 442 Huntmere Dr, Bay Village, OH 44140 were protected from falls of 9.5 feet to the ground below by the use of conventional fall protection devices. Employees were observed installing weather guard on a steep slope roof without the use of fall protection. Roofing Solutions Joe LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643095, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/11/23, with respect to a workplace located at 5088 Williams Ct., Sheffield Lake, OH 44054 .
