1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a. On or about April 10, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that there was a safe means of access and egress to and from the walking-working surfaces of the A-1 line in the dock area in that there were boxes, pallets, and materials stored in the pathways. As a result, employees were exposed to slip, trip and fall hazards. � b. On or about November 29, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that there was a safe means of access and egress to and from the walking-working surfaces of the F-1 line in the dock area in that there were pallets and boxes of mail and packages stored in the pathways. As a result, employees were exposed to slip, trip and fall hazards.
