29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee required to work from elevations during residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels by providing and ensuring the use guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or providing alternative fall protection measures under provisions of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) This most recently occurred on or about November 17, 2023 at 7557 Clubhouse Drive, Yorkville, Illinois. Employees are exposed to hazard of falling approximately 11 feet while performing framing activities on new residential structure. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
