29 CFR 1915.14(b)(1)(v): Hot work was permitted in or on land-side confined or enclosed spaces before they were tested by a competent person and determined to contain no concentrations of flammable vapors equal to or greater than 10 percent of the lower explosive limit. At 265 County Highway 346, Caruthersville, MO, 63830, On November 3, 2023 and at times prior thereto, Employees were permitted to enter an enclosed space, to perform cutting operations with a torch without being tested for flammable vapors by a competent person.
