1910.132(d)(1) The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: a)Northbrook Behavioral Health: On and before December 28, 2023, the employer failed to conduct an adequate assessment of the workplace to determine if workplace violence hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $ 1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19
