29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At a worksite located at 6790 SE Yankee Ridge Rd., Polo, MO, 64671, employees were exposed to caught in, crushed by, and amputation hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to operate a Schnell Robomaster 60/15 rebar bending machine without providing protection against the machines pinch point hazards, to include but not limited to the point of operation.
