OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from struck-by/crushing hazards: a) For the shipping area and throughout the facility, on or about 10/31/2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards from falling racking and stored material, in that, uprights/posts for racking that was approximately 15 feet high were not bolted to the floor. The racking contained boxes of metal parts to be shipped. b) For the shipping area, on or about 10/31/2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards from falling racking and stored material, in that, uprights/posts for racking that was approximately 15 feet high were damaged/deformed. The racking contained boxes of metal parts to be shipped.
