OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards working on the ground around heavy mobile equipment including, forklift and front-end loader traffic. (a) On October 30, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the company did not establish a traffic management plan which designated pedestrian walkways for safely transiting from the sorting areas within the facility to the breakroom. NOTE: 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
